Dr. Hayburn is a licensed and board certified Physical Therapist and Women's Health Specialist. She is also a certified lymphedema therapist and massage therapist.

 

Her specialities include pelvic health, bowel and bladder dysfunction, chronic pain, pregnancy/post-partum conditions, low back/SI/hip pain, TMJ dysfunction, treatment of lymphedema and pain/orthopedic conditions related to oncology treatment.

Certified as a massage therapist in 2006, she studied a variety of techniques including myofascial release, cranial sacral therapy, and Thai ma​ssage.

In 2013, she completed her doctorate in physical therapy, followed by a residency in Women's Health, becoming a board certified Women's Health Specialist in 2014.

 

The Goal

To address the cause and not just the symptoms. This entails looking at you as a whole person and not just your "low back pain". The end goal being that the problem is resolved and that the gains you've made in therapy can be maintained by YOU

To create an individual wellness plan that improves your quality of life and gets you feeling better and back  to all things you want to be doing.

 

 

Holistic Approach

Dr. Hayburn has a holistic approach to body work combining her extensive knowledge and training in anatomy and physiology, with over 17 years of hands on practice.

Each session is tailored to your individual needs and goals. Sessions may include soft tissue work, exercise, education on posture/body mechanics, stress management, and diet/flud intake.

More about Dr. Hayburn

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Dr. Hayburn has lived and trained widely in the US, Canada and Thailand.

Outside of practicing bodywork and physical therapy, she teaches at the doctoral level, at national and local conferences, as well as within the community.

Beyond her commitment to a deeper understanding of the body and wellness, she's a wife and mother of two. She loves cooking, traveling, playing in the woods, and drinking copious amounts of coffee.
