About 

Dr. Hayburn is a licensed and board certified physical therapist and certified massage therapist. Certified as a massage therapist in 2006, she studied a variety of techniques including myofascial release, cranial sacral therapy, and thai ma​ssage. In 2013, she completed her doctorate in physical therapy, followed by a residency in Women's Health, becoming a board certified Women's Health Specialist in 2014. She specializes in treatment of pelvic pain (including low back, abdominal, hip pain), pelvic floor dysfunction, pregnancy/post-partum orthopedic conditions, TMD, and chronic pain.

Why Dr. Hayburn? 

Dr. Hayburn has a holistic approach to body work combining her extensive knowledge and training in anatomy and physiology, with over 14 years of experience of hands on practice.

Each session is tailored to your individual needs and goals, and may include soft tissue work, exercise, and education on posture/body mechanics, stress management,  and diet/fluid intake.

The Goal

To address the cause and not just the symptoms. This entails looking at you as a whole person and not just your "low back pain". The end goal being that the problem is resolved and that the gains you've made in therapy can be maintained by YOU going forward.

Dr. Lucinda Hayburn

Doctor of Physical Therapy, Board Certified Women's Health Specialist

Born in Philadelphia, Dr. Hayburn has lived and studied in Canada, Thailand, and within the US. Outside of practicing body work and physical therapy, Dr. Hayburn also teaches at the university level, at national conferences, as well as within the community. Beyond her commitment to a deeper understanding of the body and wellness, she's a wife and mother of two, and loves to cook, travel, play in the woods, and drink copious amounts of coffee.
